Duet

Terms of Use

Last updated July 2026

These terms govern your use of Duet Money, a service provided by Duet Money Pty Ltd (ABN 79 699 581 407) (“Duet”). By creating an account or using the demo you agree to them. Duet is currently in beta — features may change and availability isn't guaranteed.

Duet is not financial advice

Duet is a money-organisation tool, not a licensed financial adviser. Figures shown in Duet are based on data you connect and facts you enter; they are general information only and don't take your personal circumstances into account. Consider speaking to a licensed adviser before making decisions about loans, superannuation, or investments.

Your account and your couple

  • Keep your login details secure — your account gives access to sensitive financial information.
  • Linking with a partner shares data between you according to the privacy tiers each of you sets. Only invite someone you intend to share household finances with.
  • Changes to shared arrangements require both partners' approval; either partner may disconnect the couple, which also requires the two-party flow.

Acceptable use

  • Only connect bank accounts you are authorised to access.
  • Don't attempt to access other households' data, probe, or disrupt the service.
  • Don't use Duet for unlawful purposes.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Duet reliable, but as a beta service it is provided “as is” without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Duet's bank connections are read-only — Duet cannot move your money, and you remain responsible for your financial decisions.

Ending your use

You can stop using Duet and ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
